Work Experience
2005 to present: Contract copy writer/copy editor, Portland, Oregon. Generating original and inspiring creative for branding, catalogues, ad campaigns, etc. Co-copywriter in charge of Niketown.com account at Nemo Design from July 06 to December 06. Clients currently include Nike 6.0, Nike Snowboarding, Nemo Design, Terry Bicycles, Columbia Sportswear, Quiksilver, Roxy, Von Zipper.
2000 to present: Freelance journalist. Have been published internationally in such publications as Transworld Snowboarding, TIME, Pleasure, Snowboard Canada, the journal, et cetera.
2000 to 2006: Senior Editor, Transworld Snowboarding Magazine, Oceanside, California (2000-2004) and Portland, Oregon (2004 to 2006). Writing; editing; managing the feature well; overseeing editorial flow and every part of production process, including managing junior editors and team of contributors and working with advertising department on the book layout; traveling; photography; event reporting; organizing and executing photo shoots, feature trips, and events. I’m currently a lead contributing writer at Transworld.
2005 to 2008: Volunteer at Write Around Portland, a non-profit that runs volunteer-facilitated writing workshops for people affected by HIV/AIDS, survivors of domestic violence, people in recovery from drug/alcohol addiction, and others. I edited their quarterly anthology and interviewed featured writers for their Web site.
1994 to 2000: Professional snowboarder, Vail, Colorado. Traveled worldwide for competitions and photo/film shoots and represented such sponsors as Sims, Oakley, and 686 Enterprises.

B.A. in Humanities from University Of Colorado, Boulder, graduating with honors, Magna Cum Laude, in May of 2000.
